Community partnerships

Have a need? Let’s talk.

Local nonprofits, community organizations, and other groups can reach out with a project, a need, or an idea to collaborate. We’re an organization run by students, eager to help where we can.

How it works

  1. Tell us what you need

A few sentences about the project, the people it serves, and any timeline.

  2. We talk it through

A student from our external relations team follows up to understand the request and ask questions.

  3. We decide together

If it’s a good fit for what students can take on, we put together a team. If not, we’ll tell you honestly.

A note on expectations: ICI members are students volunteering their time, not a professional agency. We can’t guarantee we’ll take on every request, and timelines depend on the academic calendar. What we can promise is to take your need seriously and be straightforward with you.

Organizations we work with

  • Trinity Community Food Pantry

A food pantry feeding hungry kids and families in Jacksonville, Florida. Students handle its flyers, signage, and promotional materials.

  • Visionary Arts

An art academy and creative leadership studio in San Jose, California. Together we started Earth Day Every Day, an art movement that spread across the United States and into Europe.

  • NoshBox

A pickup app for restaurants in Champaign and Urbana. We are exploring creative events for the community together; details are still being planned.

Partnership inquiry

Tell us about your project

Share as much or as little as you know right now. Rough ideas are welcome.

What are you trying to do, and who does it serve?

What kind of support are you looking for?

Any dates or deadlines we should know about.
